Eating Chooks with Gusto!

One time I brought home my all-time favorite Chooks-To-Go chicken. Instantly she jumped with curiosity and eyed the red plastic I was holding. “What’s that Mom?” she asked. “It’s my favorite food,” I quipped while opening it in front of her. “What’s the name of your favorite food, Mom?” “My favorite food is Chooks-To-Go! It’s sooo yummy, want to try?”
“Mmmm…No Thanks!,” she teasingly replied.
But taking from her reaction, she is trying so hard to resist tasting the food. So I just played along. “Ok, if you’re not interested, you can just watch mommy eat with gusto.” “Who’s gusto Mom? Why are you eating with Gusto? You eat with me, Vera, not with Gusto!,” she replied with all conviction.
I almost choked while laughing so hard, “Hahahaha! No, eating with gusto means, I really, really love what I’m eating. It is to eat heartily and I get to be so happy tasting my favorite food. Are you sure you really don’t want to taste this?” All of a sudden, Vera started sniffing the awesome chicken, closed her eyes, and shouted at the top of her voice, “I love Chooks-To-Go!” Without batting an eyelash, she readily munched on the entire chicken leg heartily to my amazement.
“Mom…” “Yes, dear?” “I’m eating with gusto also. Chooks-To-Go is my most favorite food. Just like you!” “Yes dear, to eat Chooks-To-Go is to eat with gusto.” Chooks To-Go we love!

Celebrations

My daughter was born four years ago.Since then,we always celebrate her birthday every month. We buy cake, pizza, ice cream or pancit/spaghetti every month. There were times that we choose to dine in restaurants located in malls. Magastos talaga, considering that we have monthly budget for her birthday celebration.Lately,we have considered reducing the budget for my daughter’s monthly birthday celebration.
We opted to be more practical due to the increasing prices of commodities and sayang din yung additional savings for her future. We still wanted to celebrate monthly but this time with a lesser budget. Good thing, there’s a Chooks To Go store nearby.
The cheap and affordable yet so yummy and delicious alternative for our monthly celebrations. In less than 200 bucks, we can celebrate without spending too much. So practical! Not to mention that Chooks to Go chicken is my daughter’s favorite. Even without a cake, ice cream or spaghetti on the table, my daughter doesn’t mind at all.
Basta ang importante, may Chooks to Go. All is well with Chooks to Go chicken kasi wala na kaming hahanapin pang iba! Super sarap talaga even without the sauce! It’s so addicting that you will even want for more! Kaya nga, hindi mawawala ang Chooks To Go chicken sa aming monthly birthday celebration. My daughter enjoyed her monthly birthday celebration as much as we do because of Chooks To Go.

Thank you so much Chooks To Go for being a part of our life and for growing old with my daughter

Having Chooks with my KaChooks!

Me and family started liking Chooks To Go on our first taste.
From that day onwards, we always choose Chooks To Go anytime, anywhere and in every family occasions we wanted to buy a whole chicken and good thing that they have a branch near our place.
It only cost same as other lechon manok store but really we love the taste of Chooks kasi “Masarap kahit walang sauce!”
? ding! dong! ? “Ayan na sya!!!!”
Sabay bungad ng—- “Wow! CHOOKS TO GO!” ‘yey!!!’
Mapa tanghalian man o hapunan o kahit mirienda ay the best talaga ang Chooks to Go’s Oven Roasted Chicken! =)

Pa-Chooks Ka Naman Sir! ! !
Whenever they ask for something parang there is this voice na nagsasabi sa’kin na “Go! Ibigay mo”, kinda cliché but true. . .” nakakatuwa ang kakulitan nila with matching chicken dance pa sa pangangantyaw and as always hindi na naman ako makatanggi so nagpabili kaagad ako ng Chooks To Go!. According to them ang Chooks daw kasi may kakaibang lasa at aroma na talagang gaganahan ka sa pagkain even without sauce ang maganda pa daw dun eh pwede sa mga kids, yuppies and even oldies at isa pa eh, mura.
Nung huling punta nga namin sa orphanage during the Back to School Project and Dance Workshop with DIMENTORZ as in todo kantyaw na naman sila ng Chooks and I asked one of the kids, “Bakit ba lagi nalang Chooks ang pinapabili nyo? meron namang ibang roasted chicken. . .” sagot sa’kin ng bata “masarap kasi sir kahit walang sauce. . .” a very simple statement na nagprove na ang Chooks eh talagang masarap kahit walang sauce at lahat ng class and state sa society naaabot ng Chooks To Go!
At the end of everyday na kinakantyawan ako ng mga kasamahan ko sa organization at ng mga bata eh, napapangiti nalang ako and walang paglagayan at saya na nararamdaman ko kasi nalalagyan ko ng ngiti ang mukha ng mga tao sa paligid ko at in every kalog and unforgettable moments na yun kasama ko lagi ang Chooks To Go!

My birthday with Chooks-To-Go!
requested for palabok. During the course of our discussion, Yummy, my 4 year old daughter gave me a tug at my shirt and said “Papa, gusto ko chicken” while pointing towards the TV screen showing the Chooks-to-Go commercial. It has been a while since we had a roasted chicken from Chooks-to-Go so I gladly replied “Sige anak, bukas bili tayo ng chicken ha.”
May 13 came and by lunchtime, all my ‘handa’ were already prepared at the table except for the Chooks-to-go roasted chicken. I intentionally made the delivery order 30 minutes before lunchtime because I wanted my chicken to be hot and freshly delivered. Yummy wasn’t even touching any of the food because she keeps on asking, “Papa, gusto ko chicken.” I told her that the chicken is on its way already and she can just look out of the window towards our gate and see if someone will come carrying the roasted chicken. She replied back, “Ang tagal naman kasi eh. Gutom na ako.” My wife and I just exchanged glances and smiled. A few minutes later and we heard the doorbell rang and much to our delight, Yummy’s chicken has arrived!
After paying the delivery and getting back inside, Yummy grabbed the plastic bag of Chooks-To-Go from me and proceeded to opening it. I told her to wait, get a seat near the dining table and we will take some pictures of my ‘handa’.
Attached are some of the pictures I took celebrating my birthday with Chooks-to-go chicken and of course, starring Yummy.

KaChooks Story of the Week: Chooks ko yan eh
One not-so-late night, on my way home from work, I stopped by a Chooks to Go store in Marikina and brought home one Chooks (to Go, please). I was already so hungry that I couldn’t wait to go home and have the Chooks for dinner, all by myself. I knew my husband and daughters had eaten dinner already. As my husband welcomed me home, he noticed the plastic bag of Chooks to Go on my hand. He grabbed it, excitedly took the chicken out and cut it in half. He told me that’s how he wanted his Chooks to be. Did he say, his Chooks???? Oh no, that’s my Chooks! He, then, called our daughters. As our kids were going down the stairs they saw the Chooks on our kitchen table and said, “Wow! Yummy! Hungry pa kami, mom!” All I could do was smile and share my Chooks with them. We all retired that night, happy and satisfied.Sent by: Vivian Aguilar, from Marikina

KaChooks Story of the Week: One fine day

My son requested to have his favorite Chooks-to-Go oven roasted chicken for lunch because he wasn’t feeling well that day. Being a dutiful Mom, I rushed to the nearest Chooks-to-Go outlet to buy my son’s chicken. Nakipagagawan pa ako sa ibang customers since the next batch of roasted chicken is not yet cooked. I only realized that I had the exact amount of money, after paying for my chicken. In effect wala na akong pamasahe pauwi! I had no choice but to walk the 300 meter distance from the store to my house.
My excited son was by the doorstep waiting for me to come home and bring him the roasted chicken. By just looking at his happy face, nawala ang pagod ko sa paglalakad. Masaya naming pinagsaluhan ang masarap na ulam. Malasa at malinamnam ang masarap kahit walang sauce na Chooks-to-Go roasted chicken. Very affordable pa!

Excyted si Yaya!

Yaya Biget firmly believes that roasted chicken should always come with its partner gravy sauce. It has been the practice then and for her it’s ‘kinda weird, almost sacrilegious, to eat any lechon manok without the sauce.”
This is until she saw the advertising on TV. She immediately told me, “Koya…pwidi pala walang soz yung lechon manok!”
“What?” I quipped.
“yung checken na choks, masarap kahit walang greyvi dip,” She emphasized. Ahhh, are you referring to Chooks-to-Go?,” I answered.
Instead of answering me, she performed the wacky chicken dance of Chooks-To-Go with all gusto. We were so amused of her fascination with the brand that immediately I went into the car in search of the nearest Chooks-To-Go outlet. I bought a couple of Chooks-to-Go from a nearby outlet in Caniogan, Pasig.
Upon arrival and seeing the prized purchase, Yaya Biget again started to sing and gesture the Chooks-to-Go Chicken dance for our amusement.
