Chooks-to-Go Store Opening in MMC, Butuan

Last March 17, 2012, another Chooks-to-Go outlet opened in MMC, Butuan. The opening commenced at 11am with an outlet blessing. Branch Manager of Butuan operations, Ronald Elamparo, was present to officially open the new outlet.

It was a rainy morning yet opening activities still pushed through. Customers were given freebies for every purchase of roasted chicken or Fried Chooks. Also, the day did not end without holding the Chooks-to-Go chicken dance.

Two Thumbs Up For Chooks to Go!

Pachook na pachook ang Chooks to Go sa Thumbs up!, a lifestyle magazine show on Studio 23 featuring successful enterprises and people in the Philippines.  It is hosted by Catholic Mass Media Awards Hall of Famer and DZMM Radio Negosyo Anchor Dr. Carl Balita and Quezon City Vice Mayor Joy Belmonte.

The show aims to inspire Filipinos to venture in their own business through showing mini-documentaries and interviews of successful Pinoy entrepreneurs.  Thumbs Up! is not just a show for budding business people here in the Philippines, but also those overseas, through viewers who watch TFC.

Last December 17, Mr. Dino C. Alentajan, Group Marketing Manager of Bounty Agro Ventures, was one of the featured guests on the show.  He shared the success story of Chooks, how it started as a pilot venture in Eastern Visayas and how Chooks has grown to become the largest rotisserie chain in the country.

In the segment, Mr. Alentajan goes on to discuss the main differentiators of Chooks and how it has established itself to be the only roast chicken in the country that is masarap kahit walang sauce.

Bounty Fresh and Chooks To Go in Operation Sendong

Last December 22, 2011, Bounty Fresh Chicken and Chooks-to-Go partnered with TV5’s Alagang Kapatid in conducting Operation Sendong, a Medical Mission and Relief Operations for victims of Typhoon Sendong. The mission was held at the covered court of Barangay Carmen in Cagayan De Oro City.

Doctors, nurses, as well as volunteers from Red Cross and other organizations joined hands in also making the medical mission possible. Bounty Fresh Chicken and Chooks-to-Go gave packed lunches to the 300 victims in Barangay Carmen, and also sponsored the meals of the volunteers.

Cheryl Cosim, news anchor and TV host in TV5, was also able to participate while covering the event.

Truly, the most significant help comes from the simplest efforts.
